Working People: A History of Labour in British Columbia is a documentary series that explores the lives of ordinary people who played extraordinary roles in the creation and growth of Canada's westernmost province. From the early gold rush years to the life and death of labour activist Ginger Goodwin; from the brutal Vancouver island coal mines to the horrifying Second Narrows Bridge collapse and from the first fisherman's union to Operation Solidarity. These are the true stories of the men and women whose blood, sweat and indomitable spirit built the province of British Columbia.
