Skeet Shooting, Lobster & Films in Yorkton, SK

It was a great honour to have our documentary series Working People: A History of Labour in British Columbia nominated this year for the Yorktown Film Festivals infamous Golden Sheaf Awards for best documentary history & biography. While we didn't take home the trophy we had a great time in Saskatchewan. Yorktown Film Fest is the longest running film festival in North American and offers up a charm like no other festival we've seen. From skeet shooting and a lobster feast to great films and a fantastic group of people in attendance, it is clear why the festival has been ongoing for so long. Now to get back to the drawing board to come up with some new content so we can get back to the Prairies again! If you have an opportunity to attend this festival definitely say yes.
